I really enjoyed this book about Eliza Hamilton.  Fascinating characters and interesting historical backdrop!  The audiobook was fantastic too.

Sci-fi is another favorite genre of mine! And one of my top favorites is Old Man's War! It is brilliantly written and is as much about the characters as the unique and creative settings. 

I first read this book in college and it instantly became my favorite novel. The entire series is fabulous, and I am eagerly awaiting Diana's latest book with the rest of her millions of devoted fans :)

Really interesting 'dystopia' like setting where the class system is based on those with special abilities and those without. The main character threatens this system when she discovers she is unique!

Forget the movie and read the book!  My husband and I listened to the audiobook for this one and it made the drives fly by. A little sci-fi flare but overall just a fun read - especially for anyone born in the 80's!

Another great historical read, this time set during and after WWII.  The two main characters become entangled in an unlikely friendship that is threatened by envy, deception, and heartache. 

I've read the first 4 books in the Old Man's War series, and while they are all great, the 1st and 2nd are by far my favorites.  If you like the 1st one, definitely check this one out too!

This book speaks not only to the history nerd in me, but also my engineering side as well.  Colorful characters and incredible stories of ingenuity, patriotism and innovation!

Another historical fiction novel, yes I know you see the theme. Can't help but love stories like this one with rich, creative characters entwined in drama and daring that you know might have happened!

Another book turned movie, and for good reason.  But the book is better!  Riveting, especially to anyone with engineering tendencies.  Great read for space enthusiasts and adventurer lovers alike!
